Born in Flushing, NY, he resided in Forest Hills, NY before settling in the Holiday City community of Berkeley three years ago.
Robert worked in sales for Sierra International in the recycling industry. He was also the manager of the East 67th Flea and Farmer's Market in Manhattan each Saturday for 39 years. Robert was a true family man and was known for his sarcastic wit and humor.
Surviving are his loving wife of 46 years, Patricia; his children: Robert and his fiancee Karen, Heather Gonzalez and her husband Drew, and Conor and his girlfriend Ana; two grandchildren: Liliana and Samuel; his sister-in-law, Colleen Carey; his brother-in-law, Desmond Flynn and his wife Melissa; his nephews: Thomas, Christopher, and Daniel; his brother, Anthony and Donna; his cousin, Olivia; and many other extended family members.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 from 4-7PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River.
A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 12PM at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church, Berkeley. Cremation will be private.
