Robert E. Glasson

(February 16,1949-September 14,2024)

Robert Glasson passed away at home on September 14, 2024 in Toms River surrounded by his loving family and dogs.

Born in Newark, Bob met and married the love of his life Theresa on October 21,1967. They moved with their sons in 1982 to Woodbridge NJ where he worked for Butler Aviation as General Manager. In 1991 he started his own family business from the ground up Glassons Auto Repair & Maintenance where his two sons worked alongside him to create a flourishing business that continues to thrive today. Bob was compassionate to all his customers' needs and became a father figure to many including his other employees. Bob loved spending time outdoors whether at his property in Hancock NY with his family, helping his son Robert work on his boat, or just taking a ride to the boardwalk with his buddy Joe and his dogs to get a sausage sandwich. Robert and Theresa went all out for the holidays with family and friends. Robert was a caring and giving person to all who knew him, he was loved by many and will be missed.

Robert was predeceased by his brothers Michael and Ronald Fenner. Surviving are his wife Theresa, son Robert E.Glasson Jr and Jennifer Scognamiglio, Michael Glasson and Catherine Kertesz.

There will be a Celebration of Life in Robert’s honor on October 26, 2024 at the VFW located at 60 W. Park Ave. Avenel NJ 07001 from 1-6 PM
