Born in the Bronx , NY, he lived in Hawthorne, NJ before moving to Berkeley Twp in 1983.
Mr. Poole was a WW II Veteran of the U.S Navy. He also received the Navy & Marine Corp medal for valor under fire.
Prior to retiring in 1983, he was a sales manager for Prudential Insurance Company where he worked for over 30 years.
Surviving is his wife Eileen (Duff) Poole. A son Robert Poole and his wife Barbara of Piscataway. A daughter Kathleen and her husband John of Texas. 2 Grandchildren: Michael & Christine. Also by 6 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18th from 10 – 11 AM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM followed by a private cremation.
