Robert A. Rowley

Robert previously lost the love of his life, Elaine Marincas Rowley in March of 2019. He was also preceded in death by two sons, Robert Jr. and Christopher John; brothers; John Jr., Donald, William Roy, and James and sisters; Frances and Patricia.

Robert is survived by his five daughters; Teresa Bernarducci (David), Suzann Rowley (Sandy), Kathleen Adamchak (Mark), Jeanmarie Brittain (Bret), and Elaine Concepcion (Victor), with whom he resided; four grandchildren, Shaun and Eric Brittain, Cassidy Brittain Filajdic (Niko) and Dr. Kelsey Bernarducci (Anthony); two great-grandchildren Rhea and Isla Filajdic, sisters-in-law; Phyllis Rowley and Rose Rowley and many nieces and nephews.

His daughters are extremely thankful for his caregiver, Stacy, and know she will miss him deeply.

Robert was born August 18, 1928, in Metuchen, NJ to John and Helen Pydyszewski Rowley, and is the last of seven children to pass.

He served in the United States Navy from 1948 to 1950. Robert was a former NJ State Trooper from 1953 to 1961. He worked several other jobs before settling into his final job as an Agent with the Internal Revenue Service, retiring in 1988. He was a lifelong member of the Knights of Columbus.

Robert will be missed dearly and remembered by all who loved him.

Visiting hours will be held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday July 19, 2026 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday July 20, 2026 at 10:00 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church 130 St. Maximilian Lane Toms River, NJ 08757. Entombment will be at Ocean County Memorial Park 1722 Silverton Rd. Toms River, NJ 08755.
