Rose M. Balzano

Rose M. Balzano, 87, of Toms River, NJ passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2022 with her family by her side. Born in New York, NY, Rose had lived in Far Rockaway, NY before coming to Holiday City Berkeley, with her husband Paul in 1991. She was an Adult Life Personnel Director for the City of New York. Moving to Holiday City was one of the best decisions she ever made. She and her husband enjoyed living in such an active community and participating in the clubs, I.E. the Melodiers, Variety & Drama club and the fishing and social club. She had the opportunity to travel with family and take the most memorable trips with friends. Playing MahJonng with “the girls” and casino play in Atlantic City were two of her favorite things. Rose was predeceased by her loving husband Paul in 2019 and her son in law Frank Masone in 2021. She is survived by her two wonderful children; her beautiful caring daughter Teri Masone and her handsome son Paul Jr., (Bettianne) Balzano. She was a very proud grandma of her four grandsons, Frank (Nicole), Matthew (Stacie), Joseph (Nicole), Paulie (Nicole) and a truly blessed “Great Grandma Rose” to Hailey, Evangeline, Courtney, Vivienne and Lucas. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022, from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 9:30 am at the funeral home. Interment will follow to Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY. “Please don’t grieve for me ~ I am at peace with no regrets I had a wonderful life and I will always love you.”
