Rose Funaro, 95, of Toms River died on Friday, April 23, 2010 at the Fountain View Care Center in Lakewood, NJ. Born on July 18, 1914 in New York City to Anthony and Rosina Affatigato, she lived in Toms River, NJ.
Mrs. Funaro was a seamstress for La Monica & Son in Brooklyn, NY for many years.
Mrs. Funaro is survived by her three children; Anna Lipani, Patricia Garguilo and Daniel La Monica.
Visitation will take place on Sunday, April 25, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A funeral service on Monday at 11:30AM at St. Joseph’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Cedar Grove Road, Toms River.
