Rosemary Magnuson

She was born in New York City on January 20, 1926; raised, married and lived in North Bergen, NJ before moving to Holiday City South in Berkeley Twp. in 1986. She was a member of the HCS Craft Club, the HCS Women’s Club and Social Club. She also served as secretary to the HCS Bocce Club and the election board for many years. She worked in the Southwind office for many years. She and her husband, Robert, belonged to the Brick Dancing Club and loved Ballroom Dancing.

She moved to Leisure Village East in Lakewood for the last two years of her life where she belonged to The Book Club and enjoyed swimming right up to an hour before her death.

She was predeceased by her husband of 72 years Robert; her parents Joseph and Florence Dulanie and her brother Philip. She is survived by a brother, Joseph Dulanie, daughter Dorothy Sabarese and her husband Robert; a son Robert Magnuson and his wife Francine; two grandsons, Kenny Sabarese and his wife Cairn and Gregory Sabarese and his wife Rachel; three great-grandchildren McKenna, Elijah and Rosemary; and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday July 15, 2024 from 10 am to 12 pm at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. Burial will be at 1:00 pm at Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery 350 Provinceline Rd. Wrightstown, NJ 08562.
