Rudolf Germadnig

Rudolf “Rudy” Germadnig, 68, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his home in Toms River, NJ. Born in Austria, Rudy called Howell, NJ home for 55 years before moving to Toms River with his wife Tania in 2019. He served as a Supervisor with Nestlé, Freehold, NJ for more than forty years!

When Rudy wasn’t working you could find him at the Manasquan reservoir fishing, boogie boarding, sunbathing, and even metal detecting on the Belmar Beach. He had a love for finding old bottles, coins and knick knacks and learning about its journey. Those are stories he shared with his family and friends for as long as we can remember. Spending time relaxing in his backyard with good friends and family around the barbeque with a cold beer, laughing and listening to music was one of his favorite pastimes. Over the past 13 years he found joy taking the time with one of his, now 5, grandchildren. Watching them do what they loved to do, was something that he loved to do. When you’d look over at Rudy at any event or gathering he’d be doing just that, observing. We know that’s what he’s doing now, watching over all of us and observing the rest of what’s to come. The smiles and memories we’ve shared are abounding, we’ll miss your laughter. Say hi to mom for us. We love you.

Rudy was predeceased by his wife Tania in 2023 and is survived by his three children; Paul Germadnig,Eric Germadnig and Tara Germadnig. His grandchildren Jackson, Elisabeth, Nina, Bailey, and Noah. And his daughter-in-law Dina.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2024 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ. A Funeral Service will begin promptly at 6:00 pm
