Russell A May

Russell A. May 84 of Toms River passed away June 4th, 2011 at home. Born in Paterson, NJ he lived there prior to moving to Toms River in 1988. He was a US armed service veteran, member of the Elks Lodge in Wayne, NJ, member of VFW Post 10185, and avid Met and Nascar fan. He was predeceased by his wife Joan and parents Russell D. and Lillian May (Ramph). Surviving are his daughter Paula and husband Bill Kirchenbauer of Newton, NJ; daughter Carol and husband Bob Finley of Stanhope, NJ; Daughter Patty and husband Pete Motyka of Dudley, MA; son David and wife Linda May of Byram, NJ; 6 grandchildren Michael, Matthew, Mark, Andrew, Denise and Laurie; 3 great grandchildren and sister Eleanor and husband Frank Tranes of Mass. Visitation will be Wednesday June 8th, 2011 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm from the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral service will be 10am Thursday June 9th, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at the Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
