Selma Ogden

Selma Ogden, 78, of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away peacefully at home on November 20, 2014 surrounded by loved ones. Born on November 1, 1936 in Philadelphia, PA, she left one summer to work at Captain Starn’s in Atlantic City and never left the shore again, calling Atlantic City her home, She was a hard worker and held many jobs including Captain Starn’s The Morton Hotel, Barclay Motel, Bank of America, Td Bank, and The Village Shops of Tuckerton. She retired from the Marriot Corporation fast food division. Selma loved Cooking, playing Bingo with her friends at the American Legion and enjoyed traveling, living by the ocean, the smell of the salt air, spending time with family, especially her grandchildren, and spoiling everyone during the holiday season. She joins her parents Conrad and Gertrude Lefferts, son Curtis Ogden and, brother Jack Lefferts. She is survived by her siblings Irvin Lefferts, Lillian Convey, Ronald Lefferts, and Florence Noeding, children Kathleen Per, Janice Lyn Cooper, and Michael Ogden and his girlfriend Shannon Kramer, grandchildren Rick Per, Rick and Heather Ogden, Heath and Michele Per, Tina and Mike Biriki, Jared and Heather Per, Christine Ogden, Zachary Kramer, and Abbigail Kramer, great grandchildren Izzy, Jared, Maya, Devyn, Shane, Jordan, Danielle, David, Vinnie, Logan, Dominic, Anthony, Victoria, and Lexi and life time friend Pat Ley.
