Silvio D. DeVita age 90 of Toms River and Formerly of Livingston passed away peacefully at home on Monday March 24th. He enjoyed wood working in his shop at home. Silvio was a former President of the Silver Ridge Park East Homeowners Association. He attended Villanova College and was drafted into the Army during World War II serving in Germany as an Xray Technician. He was predeceased by his wife Carmella in 2003, his son Barry in 2013, his granddaughter Carole in 2011, his brother Daniel and his sister Agnes Turano. Surviving are his son Bruce and his wife Jennifer of Andover Twp., 4 grandchildren Mitchel, Jillian, Gretchen, and Barry Lee, 4 great grandchildren Amanda, Lilliana, Andrew and Isabelle, his brother Frank of Bridgewater and several nieces and nephews. Visiting will be Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with a funeral service at 8 pm at the Quinn Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Rd. Toms River.
