My deepest condolences to you all on the loss of Silvio. What a wonderful human being we are blessed to have known since our days in Cuba  in the 60’s. We have so many fond memories through the decades of our families together on Saturdays or Sundays enjoying life, freedom, baseball and laughter in the great USA. My dad, who lived until 90 also, so treasured Silvio’s friendship and visits together over the years. My mom, brother and I will remember his warmth, love of his family, friends, the Yankees, and his fantastic sense of humor with which he could entertain an entire room at the drop of a hat. I’m thinking of you all this morning and join you in prayer across the miles as you honor Silvio, a truly great human, family man, and friend to all who have been lucky and blessed to know him. Rest in peace dear friend. Thank you for your friendship and zest for life. You enriched our own lives.  Until we meet again.

My Condolences to my Cousin Sister Ivette and Cousin Silvio Jr and my Aunt Alicia.  I remember when I arrived from Cuba and we were living in Perth Amboy, NJ, and all our Families were at a get together attending our first Fourth of July Celebration at the Waterfront in Perth Amboy, and  at that time I was around 6 years of age and as the Fireworks went off, my Uncle Silvio told me that the sky was falling and it was going to fall on me.  I got so scared that I ran head first into the nearest car's open window.  That was so funny.   One other memorable moment was the time when I was visiting during my teenage years and  he drove me, Ivette and I think also Silvio Jr to a Yankees game at Yankee Stadium as they were playing the Oakland Athletics.   Uncle Silvio had a great sense of Humor and I will miss him.  Rest in Peace.  And one final word, thank you for helping me install the back patio Door & Frame at my Townhouse.  Rest in peace Uncle Silvio.

My father, my rock, an example of what a man is supposed to be. You taught us so much.
You loved us so much. You always put us first.
I know that you will continue to watch over us.
We love you beyond words. Your grandchildren and great grandchildren adore you. Caden will remember how you taught him how to play dominos. Madison will remember how you played Barbie’s with her and named one “Charlie “. And Nora will forever remember her early Monday morning pancakes you made for her.

Jenn, Ashley , Nicollette and Ryan will remember your energetic, enthusiastic and sometimes silly personality.

Papa,
   We miss you each and every day. Our hearts are broken, but we know you are resting peacefully, enjoying a gin and tonic, and getting ready for the upcoming Yankee season. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories you have given me. I cherish each and every one of them.  I’ll miss seeing you play with your great-grandkids the most.  Watching you make them laugh could melt anyone’s troubles in an instant.   They adored playing with you and I am so grateful they got to spend so much time with you.  Thank you for being the caring, dependable, fun, goofy, loving grandpa/great grandpa we will always remember you being. Rest peacefully, we love you.

My deepest condolences to my aunt Alicia, and cousins Ivette and Silvio. During this difficult time words can't fulfill the loss of an amazing, thoughtful and genuine human being. His presence at family gatherings will always be remembered, especially during the hard core domino matches. As well as him telling Lily "come coño." Our kids always referred to him as Chimichanga a phrase they often would here him say.  He is truly one of kind. He will be missed. Rest in peace padrino.

Pipo always had a smile and this made those around him smile too.  He always brightened every room he was in.

A great neighbor willing to help others in their time of need. He will be missed. I am thankful to have known him.

My deepest condolences to my sister and brother ;Ivette,Silvio. To my aunt as well. My uncle was like a dad to me. In Cuba as a little asthmatic boy and not having my father was hard. Silvio took that role .I remember going to see Snow White in a theater with Ivette and Alicia and Silvio in Havana. In New Jersey we would all go to the park on Sundays and barbecue .He taught me about baseball. In Miami ,he build a mailbox holder out of wood that held four mailboxes.When a couple of hurricanes demolished Hutchison Island .All of my uncles drove up in my small truck.We had a blast. I raise my glass and I toast to a great man. 🥃

Las palabras no pueden expresar completamente la profundidad de mi gratitud por todos los sacrificios que hiciste para darle a nuestra familia una vida mejor. Fuiste más que un hombre increíble: fuiste mi guía, mi ejemplo, mi maestro en todo lo que realmente importa. Gracias a ti, aprendí lo que significa ser un hombre, un esposo y un padre. La persona que soy hoy es un reflejo del amor, la sabiduría y la fortaleza que me inculcaste.

Siempre atesoraré las lecciones que me enseñaste: el amor duro cuando lo necesitaba y las palabras llenas de ternura en los momentos más difíciles. Disfrutaste la vida con el corazón lleno, pero tu mayor felicidad siempre estuvo en las risas y el amor de tus nietos y bisnietos. Sin importar los desafíos que la vida trajera, siempre les hiciste sentir especiales, profundamente amados y apreciados.

To my dearest father, my beloved Papa,

Words cannot fully express the depth of my gratitude for all the sacrifices you made to give our family a better life. You were more than just an incredible man—you were my guiding light, my role model, my teacher in all things that truly matter. Because of you, I learned what it means to be a man, a husband, and a father. The person I am today is a reflection of the love, wisdom, and strength you instilled in me.

I will forever cherish the lessons you taught me—the tough love when I needed it, the gentle words during life’s hardest moments. You embraced life with a full heart, but your greatest joy was always found in the laughter and love of your grandchildren and great-grandchildren. No matter what challenges life brought, you always made them feel special, deeply loved, and cherished.

Papa, I miss you beyond words. Your spirit will forever live on in my heart, in my memories, and in the love you left behind. Rest peacefully, knowing that your legacy continues through us.

Papa, your impact on this family will live on until our hearts are beating.  You didn’t have to try or say it but the love for your family was evident. Life is hectic and busy but you knew how important it is to get together and you always made that happen and it is always my best memories. 
When anything needed to be done you dropped everything and came to help fix it, even way back in the 80’s you dropped everything to help your son fix the clutch in my car! You left a beautiful legacy in your children and grandchildren and great grandchildren who will continue to keep you alive in our hearts. You enjoyed life to its fullest, you visited many places and you were not afraid to live! At 90 you danced better and moved your hips better than I do! Right there doing shots with the younger crowd. Thank you for the memories, thank you for sharing your life with me, most of all thank you for being a great father in law!
