

Silvio Pacheco, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 9th, 2025. He was 90 years old. Silvio is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Alicia, and two children, Ivette and Silvio, and daughter-in-law, Loriann.
He will be remembered as a joyful and fun-loving grandfather by his four grandchildren, Jennifer, Ashley, Nicollette, and Ryan. His great-grandchildren, Caden, Madison, and Nora, will miss playing with him at soccer games and over breakfast in the summer.
Silvio immigrated to the United States from Cuba along with his wife and two children in 1967, where they built a life together in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. He enjoyed fishing in his boat off the coast of Miami, supporting the New York Yankees, and traveling throughout the United States with Alicia. Silvio often reflected on the wonderful life he had, citing Sinatra when he would remark, “I did it my way.”
Beloved by many, the impression Silvio has made on the world around him is sure to last for many lifetimes, and his memory will be cherished forever.
A Memorial Mass for Silvio will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at St Maximillian Kolbe Church, 130 Maximilian Ln, Toms River, New Jersey 08757.
