Stella C. Hicswa

Stella “Claire” Hicswa of Pawleys Island, SC; formerly of Wallington, NJ and Toms River, NJ passed away on February 14, 2013 at Tidelands Hospice House. Stella was born on May 8, 1917 in Port Chester, NY to John Siwiec and Regina Tubiak. Stella was the loving wife of the late George Hicswa. Survivors include sons George and his wife Jerilynn of Vernon, NJ and Thomas and his wife Pat of Pawleys Island, SC . Stella is also survived by three grandchildren; Scott Hicswa and his wife Stefani, Dr. Timothy Hicswa and his wife Dr. Amy and Jennifer Gray and her husband Jeffrey; she is the beloved Babcia of 9 great- grandchildren. She is survived by two sisters Helen Cucchiaroni and Lottie Duncan. She was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday February 23rd, 2013 from 9am-10am at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ 08755. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, February 23 rd, 2013 at 10:30am at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church in Berkeley Township. Entombment will follow at Whiting Memorial Park.
