Stephen A. Pollard Sr.

Stephen A. Pollard Sr. 71, of Toms River was called home to Heaven Monday, May 2, 2022 . Born in East Orange, NJ, Steve attended and graduated from Manasquan High School. Steve raised his children with his wife Kathryn in Wall Township, where they lived in West Belmar. Steve was born again in 2018 when he was baptized with his son and grandson. He lived and fought the good fight.

Steve proudly served as a Sergeant in the US Army with 82nd Airborne in the Vietnam War. He was later self-employed as Craftsman Carpenter. He loved spending time at the Pine Barrens camping & hunting. He spent free time painting and taking walks on the Jersey shore. More than anything he loved the Lord and family time with his children and grandchildren.

Steve was predeceased by his wife Kathryn Pollard, his brother Ronald Pollard, his sisters Louise Wegeman and Jean Mopavich and his angel granddaughter Mikaela Jayde.

Steve is survived by his two daughters Jennifer Caputo and her fiancé Michael Huber Jr., Sarah Pollard and her fiancé Christopher McLaughlin, his son Stephen Pollard Jr., and his fiancé Stephani Black, and his neice Rebecca McNamara. Also surviving are his beloved grandchildren, Alyssa and Samantha Caputo, Dayzi, Oliver and Tristen Pollard, Aria Pollard, Malia McLaughlin and his many nieces and nephews.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River. Cremation will be private.
