

Born Brooklyn, she resided there for most of her life before settling in Holiday City South community of Toms River four years ago.
Prior to retiring, she was an operations support technician for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where she worked for 42 years. Susan loved spending time in Atlantic City and especially enjoyed the Ocean Resort, Golden Nugget, and the Hard Rock. She loved crocheting and made many blankets for babies in the family. The life of the party, Susan enjoyed spending time with her friends and family.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Paul, in 2012; and her parents, Alexander and Anna Carbone.
Surviving are her husband of almost two years, David; her step-children: Daniel and Laura Novak; her siblings: Janet Cannizzarro, Steven Carbone and his wife Irene, Charles Carbone and his wife Debra, and Robert Carbone; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 from 4-8PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River.
A gathering will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 14th at 9am. A committal service will follow at 12:30pm at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY. Interment will immediately follow.
