They loved going to the Chinese restaurant together. Miss you all. 

What a gift Ed & I were given when we met Teddi and Eddie at Catharines Church Seaside Park many years ago
We were truly blessed to have them in our lives...
We had no idea until tonight when I received an email that Teddi had passed away in July ...

Teddi was the sweetest lady with a smile that shined whenever we saw her ..you always felt so good after chatting with Teddi and Eddie...Ed and I enjoyed many a delicious breakfast after mass all made by Teddi ...and Eddie was always there helping his love Teddi
Her devotion to our Blessed Mother was such a part of her life and I am sure Mary and Jesus were waiting with open arms for her arrival

My Aunt Teddie was a wonderful human being. She hit the mark of an elder at a very high standard. I can remember my mom dropping me off at Aunt Teddie and Uncle Ed's house. I would stay all day and swim in the pool and she would make me pizza! I also learned to have a very high respect for her at a young age. She would look at me and point her finger with a slight smile while telling me what I must do and I knew I better listen. As I grew older I realized she did things for others that I wanted to do for other people. Then I saw... it wasn't that easy! 
-- Always trying to have food ready for someone and keeping your doors open even though you may be busy. 
-- Focusing on family and trying to bring them together. 
-- Taking the time to write and give birthday cards and anniversary cards for her lifetime! 

These are just some of the things my Aunt Teddie did. I am still trying to do great things like she did. Other than my parents, she had the largest effect on me to try to be a better person. I am grateful she was in my life. We will miss her dearly. Thank you Aunt Teddie!

I met Doreen many years ago when I joined the Rosary Altar Society at St. Catharines. She was one of the kindest most loving women, always willing to help others. She had a true love of our Blessed Mother, who I am sure greeted her  in heaven. It was an honor to have had her in my life.  

Aunt Teddie was a wonderful aunt and devoted sister to my father. She loved all her siblings dearly. Family was everything to her and you knew it when you were around her. I have so many fond memories that my aunt Teddie and uncle Eddie shared, that I will cherish forever. The Jersey shore, holidays with lots of family. Laughter. Love. Hugs. She was a strong woman who taught you that respect and dignity was the essence of life. I was never in her presence where she did not have a smile on her face or words of wisdom to share. She had a great sense of humor too! And all the home made food you wanted was ready and waiting  when you visited her home. She had a heart of gold. A smile that will forever be etched in my memory. I know God opened his hands and heart for you. I am gonna miss you sorely, aunt Teddie. Fly with the angels. All my love, Barbara

Uncle Ed, Laura, and Steven so sorry to hear about Aunt Teddie. She was one amazing lady, always fun to be with, and who cannot smell one of her great meals cooking! 

Aunt Teddie was the family keeper of pictures and Battista memories, and loved when I would send her pictures to add to her collection. Some of my best memories were our Sunday family visits in Kearny, the family parties at Sunrise in Wayne, NJ, playing her accordion with her brothers Ralph on ukulele and my Dad on guitar, and of course the Battista family 4th of July picnics in Verona! 

Heaven has gained another angel and I’m sure all your brothers were at the gate waiting to meet you and give you a hug!

It was with such sadness that I read of the passing of Teddie.   My cousin and I would see her and Eddie at St Catharine's  every Sunday morning at the 8:00 AM Mass.    Every Sunday when we entered we were greeted with a big smile from her as she prayed her rosary.  As the time went on we got to know them from Sunday Mass a smile became a Hello  and then  on to small conversations after Mass.  And then, with a big  hug  Teddie told us they  would be moving  and we may not see them every Sunday.   We were Blessed with her kindness, smiles, and her caring.    We offer our sincere  condolences to the entire family and to Eddie.  All stay strong . To fond memories that you all hold in your hearts as we do in ours. 
 Once again we express  our sincere  condolences.  

I haven't seen Aunt Teddie or uncle Eddie for a long time. My fondest memories were of the times when I was much younger getting together with all of the family in Verona N.J.  Especially for the 4th of July, and living at the house in Seaside N.J for a short time.  My thoughts go out to Uncle Eddie, Steven and Laura at this time. I am so very sorry for your loss.

 I know Aunt Teddie is with all her brothers once again.

I have known Teddie since I was 17.   Although she is no longer my mother in law by law, she has ALWAYS remained my mother in law.  She would tell me quite often how much of a daughter I was to her, and she  totally embraced my husband Alan.   Signing cards to him “ AMIL”   Adopted mother in law.  
Family is not always defined by blood, it’s the people in your life you care so much about, the ones that want to be with you as much as you want to be with them. You would do anything for them.  She was an exceptional woman in every scenes of the word. Her loving caring and giving spirit will be greatly missed as we struggle to find a way to move forward without her.   Although we were not quite ready for you to become a memory, we knew  deep down your time here on earth was complete.  Heaven has certainly gained the most beautiful angel.   my heart started hurting the day you left.  Thank you Mom for everything you have done for us and for everything you mean to us! What an honor to have met you and Eddie.   Teddy was a great Baker and loved fun.  She was a precious dear lady and will never be forgotten.  We are so sorry for your loss and offer you our Sincerest Sympathies. 

Teddi, one of the finest, most kind and caring people we’ve ever known.   She loved her Eddie, her family and extended family, and her friends loved and cherished her.  Rest In Peace, dear Teddi.  You are missed.
