Theresa A. Szczepanik, 91, of Berkeley Township passed away on Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Holiday Care Center in Berkeley Township. Born on January 20, 1920 in Ansonia, CT to Alphonse and Rosalie (Fodorova) Kucher, she lived in Elizabeth before moving to Whiting in 1978.
Mrs. Szczepanik was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her husband Walter Szczepanik in 1975 and her two brothers, Paul and Stanley Kucher. She is survived by her two sisters, Mary Benedict and Catherine Piascik and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 9 to 10am at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:30am at the St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Township. Interment will follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia, NJ. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 12 Roszel Road, Suite 203, Princeton, NJ 08540.
