

Thomas “Bob” Facciola, 81, of Toms River passed away on Monday, November 08, 2010 at the Arbors Care Center in Manchester. Born in North Bergen on July 24, 1929 to Michael and Margaret (Titus) Facciola, he lived in North Bergen before moving to Toms River in 1994.
Mr. Facciola served in the US Army during peacetime. He was employed by David Kahn Inc. for 20 years and was a clerk for the Secaucus Post Office for 26 years before his retirement in 1994. He was an avid bowler, playing in many leagues in the North Bergen and Toms River areas.
Mr. Facciola was predeceased by his three brothers, Joseph, Michael and Frank Facciola. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Claire S. Facciola, his two daughters, Barbara Anello and her husband William of Clifton and Margaret Peretti and her husband Joseph of Bayonne and her three granddaughters; Gina, Maggie and Alyssa. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, November 11th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road, Toms River. Funeral service will be on Friday at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment to follow in Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River.
