Thomas Muscarella, 85, of Berkeley Township, NJ passed away Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in NYC, Thomas spent most of his life in New York before coming to Toms River area 20 years ago. Thomas was a NYC Police Officer for 6 years, then changed careers and became a Union Painter with Bellevue Hospital, NY.

Thomas loved to fish, take trips to Atlantic City, go Cruising with his late wife Dorothy, his animals and spending time with family.

Thomas was predeceased by his wife Dorothy in 2014 and his grandson Nicholas Sippie in 2017, his sister Rose Muscarella in 2005. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Kathy Sippie and her husband Ed and Joann Padgett. Also surviving are his three grandchildren; Jamie Garman, Ed Sippie and Thomas Sippie and his great granddaughter Jenna Garman.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Rd., Toms River, NJ from 10 am to 12 pm with services to begin promptly at 12 pm. Entombment will follow to St. Joseph’s Mausoleum, Toms River, NJ.

So sorry to hear of Toms passing. My neighbor for the last 9 years was always so sweet and caring. I will surely miss my hellos and conversations. RIP my friend🙏♥️

My Dad was a very kind and caring man with a gentle soul, every one who new my dad loved him. I remember when I was little him buying me and my sister a Heidi doll and our friend Judy was over and he felt so bad that he didn’t have one for her. So he went back to the store and purchased another Heidi doll and gave it to her. How kind and thoughtful he was!!!I have so many wonderful memories with my dad! He will truly be missed by me , Ed, JoAnn and his grandchildren! May you Rest In Peace Dad till I see you again!!! I Love You!!! Always Kathy

Always loved my Uncle Tom dearly. He was a gentle, caring man. A great husband to my Aunt Dolly and a wonderful father to Joanne and Cathy. I will always treasure the great memories growing up. My he forever rest in peace.💕🙏❤

I met Thomas when I was 14 years young, in New York City. My sisters and I were capivated with his great smile ,good looks and personality.
We called Thomas our New York City Boy, a popular song in the 1960's .
Tommy married my sister Dorothy and for sixty years we LOVED this kind,generous, compassionate, dedicated man . REST IN PEACE my Dear brother. I will love you always.
