Thomas B. Zakrzewski

Born in Jersey City, Thomas lived in Brooklyn, NY for 23 years and Freehold, NJ for 27 years before moving to Toms River10 years ago. He was a veteran of the US Army. He had worked for over 30 years as a bankruptcy settlement specialist for the United States Trust Company in New York City. He was a 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus in Freehold, NJ. Thomas, a dedicated second degree black belt in Karate, cherished bowling and hunting with friends, but above all, he prioritized spending time with his family and enjoyed traveling with Barbara.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Barbara Kacmarek Zakrzewski; his daughter Karin A. Graziano and her husband Anthony; his son James T. Zakrzewski and his grandchildren Alexis Marie Elizabeth Graziano and Michael Anthony Graziano.

Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday September 14, 2025 at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday September 15, 2025 at 10:00 am at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church 130 St. Maximilian Lane Toms River, NJ 08757. Cremation will be private.
