Vicenta Donato

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Mrs. Vicenta Donato, February 25th, 2017, with her family by her side. Vicenta was born on April 23, 1929, in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico to Justo and Anna Diaz.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to Jose Donato Sr. in November of 1947. This union under God was blessed with 9 children. Jose preceded her in death on October 17, 2008.

Vicenta devoted her life to the Lord and her family. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished by her family. She is survived by 3 sisters Juana Laboy, Modesta Feliciano, Rose Pinmental and one brother, Lino Diaz. She is survived by 9 children, Diane Walls, Jose Donato Jr, Iris Quiles, Nereida Santiago, Hector Donato, Elizabeth Donato, Yolanda Jenkins, Rose Hernandez and Grisel Astacio. She is survived by 26 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren, She was blessed to live to see 5 generations.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday February 27, 2017 from 5 to 8 PM at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home 26 Mule Road Toms River, NJ 08755 where a funeral service will take place at 7:30 PM. Committal at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery Mausoleum in Lakewood, NJ on Tuesday is PRIVATE..
