.Vincent Ferro, 81, of Berkeley Township, died Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ. He was born in Brooklyn and lived in Queens for most of his life before moving to Holiday City over 20 years ago.
Mr. Ferro was a housing policeman with the New York City Housing Authority for 25 years before his retirement. He was an Army veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was predeceased by his wife Philomena in 1991. Surviving are his children and their spouses; John & Karen and Michele & George Fiorentino, five grandchildren and two sisters.
Visiting will be Monday, October 18th from 2-4 & 6-9PM at the Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 26 Mule Road in Toms River. A funeral service will be on Tuesday at 11:00AM at the funeral Home. Entombment will follow Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the charity of your choice.
