A life so beautifully lived deserves to be beautifully remembered. It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the passing of Alejandra (Nana) Adina Caday on Sunday, April 21, 2024 at the age of 87. Alejandra died peacefully surrounded by her family.
Alejandra was born on September 22, 1936, in Batac, Philippines. She loved to travel during her lifetime and finally settled in Canada on May 1994. She was a devoted child of God and participated within the church community. Nana always displayed kindness with a big heart to her families, relatives and friends. She enjoyed spending quality time with her late husband (Arsenio Caday), their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Nana will be missed by her children Estefania Caday Valorozo (Eugenio Valorozo), Emelyn Caday Taal (Elpedio Taal), Filipinas Caday Barba, Janet Caday (Tanh Duong), Arsenia Caday, Renifel Caday (Erlinda Castro) and her grandchildren Rachel, Jeremy, Lovely, Gerard (Caleb), Jonathan, Ariel Jason (Karen), John Martin, Cynthia, Darren, and Kimberly Chelsea. She will also be missed by her six great-grandchildren and extended family.
A visitation for Alejandra Adina will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON M2M4K4.
A funeral service will occur Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 92 Steeles Ave W, Vaughan, ON L4J 1A1.
A committal service will occur Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Westminster Cemetery, Mausoleum & Cremation Centre, 5830 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON M2R 1Y6.
