Dear Ambrose,
It is really our honour to make us be a friend of you. As a remarkable, distinguished leader and mentor, you opened our eyeshots and lifted us our spirits of how to struggle on our lives. We will never forget all the moments we were together and miss you forever.

As a hike leader I have admired Ambrose's dedication to the Bruce Trail Club and its members. i have not hiked with Ambrose in a long time but I did enjoyed the wilderness hike and the hike to Elora with him.
On Saturday I was leading a hike at the Forks of the Credit. All 40 hikers stopped in the forest for a minute of silence dedicated to remembering Ambrose.

It was a pleasure knowing you and you were such a devoted hike leader. You were the one who cared to take us to many wonderful trips in and outside of Canada which we will never forget. Rest in peace. With deepest sympathy to Maria and family.

Ambrose, from rescuing a drowning school boy in Hong Kong to promoting hiking and outdoor active life style in the Chinese Canadian community in Toronto, you have left a huge legacy and made a significant difference in many people's lives. I was so privileged to have the opportunities to take part in your meticulously planned long hiking tours, namely White Mountain and Yellow Stone Park, as well, many Bruce Trail hikes. Your kind, generous and determined nature and great leadership always shone through. We're so blessed and grateful to have you as our leader and mentor. You're much loved, admired and highly respected.
Indeed, yours was a life well lived! You will be fondly remembered and forever missed.
