It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Bruce Alan Fisher, age 73, on Saturday, January 11, 2025, at North York General Hospital, following complications from pneumonia. He was surrounded by his loving family in his final moments.
Bruce is survived by his wife, Shirley; his sons, Scott (Lisa) and Colin (Nilany); his grandchildren, Liam, Carter, Nathan, and Casey; and his dog, Milo.
He will also be dearly missed by his nieces Lisa (David), Trisha, and Erin; nephew Jason (Paola); and grandnephews Josh and Tommy.
Bruce was predeceased by his beloved parents, Roy and Margaret Fisher; his sister, Lynne Lambe; and his in-laws, Sam, Janet, and Doug Gilmore.
Known for his kindness, humour, and generous spirit, Bruce leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories shared with his extended family, countless friends, and wonderful neighbours.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Bruce’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or North York General Hospital.
Bruce will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
