Caterina has gone to rest with her parents, spouse Delfino Marcuz, siblings Pietro Cantarutti, and Cecilia Cantarutti , and children Armando Cantarutti and Jerry Marcuz. She will be missed by her children Kathy Magagna (and the late Frank Magagna), Daniella Brown (Dave Brown), her grandchildren, Kenny (Lisa), Lorie (Len), Matthew, Nicolas (Samantha), Sierra, Cassandra (Liam), Jesse, Jeremy, and her 8 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Caterina will be remember as a loving Nonna to everyone she met. She spent her time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as many friends. She enjoyed singing, playing tombola and briscola, a cup of espresso, and will be remembered as always smiling and laughing with those around her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 29, 2024 at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge street, Toronto from 4:00pm-8:00pm.
Funeral services will take place on Friday August 30, 2024 at St. Paschal Baylon Church, 92 Steeles ave W, Toronto at 9:30am.
A private burial will be held by the family at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider a donation in Caterina's memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Breast Cancer Society or a charity which is meaningful to your family.
