She is predeceased by her father, Walter Howell of Wesleyville, Newfoundland and her mother, Mary Jane Hann of Pound Cove, Newfoundland, her sisters Betty and Violet and most importantly, her husband, Donald. She is survived by her daughter Jayne, son Trevor, and their spouses James Sheppard and Sarah and her four grandsons of whom she was infinitely proud: Jack and Sam Sheppard, Thomas and Willie Bingler, as well as her brother, Sterling. Her cat River has been rehomed with a lovely friend.
Catherine will be interred at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Thornhill, Ontario in the Bingler plot. No services will be held.
