My Beautiful Wonderful Cousin Cindy,
I love you. I can't believe that you are gone.
I have so many wonderful memories of you and I will cherish them forever.  I still remember the first day I met you when we were very little. I think I was about 6. We came to Trinidad and hit it off imediately. I enjoyed staying up late to watch Barnabus Collins on "Dark Shadows". It frightened us terribly but we just had to watch it. We all played so well together and had tea parties with the china tea set. I know you remember. Auntie Shirley was always cooking and I always wanted to help. I remember the first time I had your Mum's crab and callaloo.  It was the best thing I had ever tasted in my life. When it was offered to me I wouldn't take any but you made me try it and I loved it. Your dad would take us down the road to the shop where the comic books were always neatly hung up on a line in the store by clothes pins (I secretly loved that and I still do). He would buy us each a chocolate bar and a comic book. Another one of my favourite memories is when your dad would take us to the gas station and buy us ice cream with the candy in the bottom of the ice cream.  You are the one who told me exactly which ice cream had the candy. In 1982 you and Carol came to live with us for a short time when you started school at St. Joseph's Morrow Park. Your friends became our friends and vice versa. What fun we all had telling all the latest gossip from our circle of friends. We became sisters and shared our joy, sorrow, laughter and all our experiences. Remember when we used to laugh ourselves silly as we helped each other zip up the tight jeans which was the latest fad (I have a picture of that laughter which I will send to Carol).
I am beside myself with grief because you are gone but I am happy that you are no longer suffering.
You are an angel now and you have earned your wings. 
I cry selfish tears because I miss you so much but I will always cherish those fond memories of you.
May The Lord bless you and keep you.
May the Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
