Conall's Poem

Come home to me sweet child of mine,
God whispered in your ear,
You have suffered enough upon this earth,
Time to join me here,

The angels carried you on velvet wings,
To your father up above,
And gently placed you in his arms,
To bask in his eternal love,

Though your time with us was much too short,
Your sweet soul was not meant for this place,
You were much too gentle to endure the pain,
So God took you in his embrace,

I just wish I had the chance,
To give you one more kiss,
To say how much I love you,
How much you will be missed,

Nine months I carried you under my heart,
And within my heart from that day on,
I've worried, hurt and cried for you,
And now I must be strong,

I will cherish all my memories,
Of you big blue eyes and beautiful smile,
Of your kind heart and loving ways,
Which will have to sustain me for a while,

And one day when my time has come,
We will be together once again,
So I can hold you and rock you in my arms,

I am very sorry I am writing this entry so late. I just discovered this was online. I want to say how sorry I am that such a wonderful, vibrant, young man has been lost. My deepest condolences to Conall's Family.
I consider Conall my best friend, and I believe he considered me one as well. I cant express to the family how sorry I really am. Conall will live on in all of us; of that I am certain. I know I will be thinking of him each and every day, and I will do all I can to keep his legacy alive. Conall touched the souls of many, and I hope to do the same in his honour. A large part of my heart has gone with Conall, but I know he will keep it safe; until we meet again. Here is a poem I wrote for him.

Conall: You are my best friend. 

You have loved me through thick and thin'
As I have love you too. 
You have taught me how to care.
You have taught me to be aware.
You have taught me how to love 
And that there is someone up above. 

I refuse to accept the fact that you're gone
Because in my heart,
I still feel you live on.
I may not be able to speak to you now, 
But I know you can hear my final vow.

You already know how I love you so, 
But I must confirm,
That your light holds my only glow. 
There is little to no happiness inside me now, 
I just wish I could still see you again somehow. 

I will always cherish the times we've spent,

My sincere Condolences to the McCutcheon family. I was so sorry to hear of Conall's passing. I remember him in the School age program at Northminster. I was School age staff then and never forgot Conall he was very witty and charming and I was in awe at how all you McCutheons took such good care of one another.
