Dorothy Wedderburn

WEDDERBURN, Dorothy - Born February 28, 1947. Passed away peacefully on May 21, 2012, at North York General Hospital, where she spent much time in the past 2 years under the care of a team of dedicated and caring doctors and nurses. Beloved mother of Audrey, Donna-Marie, Christopher, Donovan, Cassandra and Deheney. Dear grandmother of many and cherished great grandmother of Kyle and Machias. Strong, determined, and independent, Dorothy loved and lived life on her terms. She was a generous soul with an amazing sense of humour. She will be missed by many other extended family and friends near and far. Visitation will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, North York (South of Steeles Ave) on Monday May 28, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. Funeral Services to be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at 11 a.m. followed by Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Reception will follow immediately. In lieu of flowers, donations to the North York General Hospital or the Princess Margaret Hospital in Memory of Dorothy Wedderburn would be gratefully appreciated.
