

Predeceased by her loving husband Bruce Milton, dear son, William Bruce, and cherished granddaughter, Kelly. She also rejoins in eternity, her parents William and Esther Bentley, her sisters Hazel Gray (Earl), Shirley Trotter (Bert) and her brother William John (Flying Officer).
Dear mother of Bentley Douglas (Mary Ann) and Warren Bradley (Jeannie). Proud Nana of Brittany (Josclen), William, Laura (Rob), Heather, Emily, Matthew (Jennifer) and Melanie Davidson and fond great grandmother of Milah Caesar and Everly Davidson. Caring aunt of Bill Gray (Gwen), Jacquie (Doug), Pat Monteath, and many nieces and nephews.
Betty grew up in Willowdale and attended Queen Mary School, Earl Haig Collegiate, and Toronto Teachers’ College. While teaching for the North York School Board, she earned her BA at U of T and certificates in Guidance and Special Education.
Betty enjoyed golfing and playing duplicate bridge at the Thornhill Golf Club. In retirement, she spent 22 happy winters in Florida where she attended Shapes Gym, Opera, live theatre, and played golf while Bruce was with her.
In her younger years, she and Bruce enjoyed travelling and had many cruises and golf vacations.
Visitation will be held on Friday January 9, 2026, at 10 am at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home at 6191 Yonge Street in North York. Funeral Service will follow at 11 am. Reception and private cremation will follow.
