Esperanza Marasigan Thorne

She will be warmly remembered by her two children Katarina and Kevin, her grandsons Mayson and Santiago, her mother, Ines, her siblings, Florencio, Emily, Nerilyn, Chit, Edwin, John, Karen and Noemi. In heaven she meets her father, Pio and her brother Rolando.

Esperanza was born in Batangas, Philippines and went to work in Hong Kong before becoming a resident of Ajax for almost 35 years working hard as a PSW. Before her passing she was residing at Castleview Long term care and loved participating in Bingo. She loved drawing, watching movies and listening to music. Esperanza was so outgoing and loved traveling with her friends and family.

A visitation for Esperanza will be held Friday, April 11, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto.
