He was one City Councelor between 1972-1986 during Ferdinand Marcos’ reign as a President of the Philippines.
He was the eldest child with 4 siblings - all girls, he’s the only thorn among the roses.
He was married with his love of his life, Augustina until the end. He was very devastated when his wife passed 6 years ago.
In 1993, they came to Canada for their first visit. They fell in love in the country.
1999 to present, they became a Canadian Resident.
His health declined, since he was diagnosed with pneumothorax. The doctor was amazed with his fast recovery after the procedure due to his age.
He tried to be strong and was very determined to get better because he treasured and enjoyed every moment spent time with his little great-grand-children who visited him at the hospital.
He died peacefully at home surrounded by all his child and grandchildren. He loved life to the fullest till the end.
