Fiorina Pontello

Fiorina passed peacefully with family by her side, on December 30, 2021, at North York General Hospital. She is survived by her spouse Torquato Pontello of 62 years, her children Franco Pontello and Lorella Pannozzo (Frank Pannozzo), her grandchildren Giulio and Andrea Pontello, Ilenia, Kiara, and Gianluca Pannozzo. She is also survived by Pierina Marchesin, Sergio Marchesin and Bertilla Marchesin.

Fiorina rejoins in eternal life her parents Andrea Marchesin and Assunta Callegari, and her siblings, Sandro Marchesin, and Maria Cavasin (Mario Cavasin).

Fiorina will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family and loved every moment she spent with her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her commitment to her church and church choir and for her love of teaching her grandchildren Italian, singing, and gardening, especially her ability to rescue every flower and keep it forever blooming.
