To my wonderful Mother in Law - Linda

Maraming salamat sa lahat po.

I just wanted you to know that our daughters will always know about you and Tatay, and your legacy of unconditional love. I wish you could have remained here on earth for just a little while longer so you can still witness the future of your granddaughters. We learned a lot from you, and I'm praying that we can pass some of that knowledge on to our daughters.

I love you, Nanay, and I miss you already. I will do my best to always be a terrific husband to your daughter and an excellent father to your granddaughters. I will always remember that unconditional love is possible - even for mere mortals - and I will spend my life trying to love everyone unconditionally – just the way you did. Thank you for that. The light and truth of your love will never go out, as long as I have anything to say about it.

Mahal na mahal po namin kayo ni Tatay saan man po kayo naroroon ngayon.

Dearest Nanay, We are so thankful knowing what you have sacrificed and how much you loved us. We would not be where we are right this moment without our life being what it was. Grief is not linear. We still cry when the qualm of memories make us think of you. But then, we will continue with our life that we were gifted, knowing that is the best way to honour your memory and Tatay, and that you will be with us wherever we go. We will forever be grateful to you and you will be forever in our hearts, minds and thoughts. e love you so much.
