Gordon Linton Tomlinson

Gordon Linton Tomlinson – February 29, 1932 – August 4, 2021 in his 90th year at Toronto. Predeceased by his parents Gordon T. Tomlinson and Marvel I. Tomlinson. A bachelor for life, Gord gave meaning to the word “friend” having built numerous deep and life-long friendships – many of which spanned from his teenage years. A dedicated son, Gord cared for his mother until her passing in 1993. While Gord retired from the investment industry many years ago, he never lost interest in watching the market. A true Torontonian, Gord’s preferred mode of travel was by foot. While COVID prevented Gord from meeting the “old boys” for beers and wings, he remained fiercely independent, caring for himself right up until he become ill early this year. While Gord saw many friends go before him, he was fortunate to have the care and support of several dedicated friends during his final months. He will be missed. Gord requested that no visitation take place. Graveside memorial to be held at 1 pm on Tuesday August 17, 2021 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery(Enter Cemetery Gates at the Yonge Street Entrance, Cemetery Section Plot X).
