She was born on July 2, 1930, to Maria Fong She Chiu and Chung Young Chiu in Manila, Philippines.
Isabel is survived by her husband, Peter, four children, Julie, Debbie, Jocelyn, and Lauro, five grandchildren, Michael, Ivan, Shirley, Eric, and Larissa, and three great-grandchildren, Zoey, Maverick, and Iris.
She loved to learn new things, she taught herself to read and write in Chinese. She would record and watch her cooking shows, dramas, and home videos on VHS, DVD then eventually PVR. She taught herself new make-up techniques from YouTube. She was a big fan of buffets because it always allowed her to taste new dishes.
Her memories and life lessons will forever be with us.
