Jeff will be lovingly remembered and missed by his wife and partner of 19 years KerryAnn Palmer and his brother Greg (Karen) Bell and their children Hilary (Sabrina), Bryce (Abby) and Kathleen (Joba). He is predeceased by his parents Billy and Bev Bell and special Uncle Dick Gardner.
Jeff was a quiet, loving, caring and devoted husband who was motivated to support KerryAnn in fulfilling her dreams of becoming a Canadian citizen, gaining full time employment, excelling as a leader in her workplace union and getting her driver’s license. His focus was to support her in achieving her goals. Some of the most memorable moments were their trips to Jamaica where he loved being on the beaches in the warmth of the sunshine in his shorts, annual summer vacation at the cottage at Go Home Lake and holidays with his brother and family in Waterloo.
Jeff was born on March 15, 1966, in Toronto, Ontario and grew up in the Willowdale neighborhood of the City of North York. On weekends the family prioritized hockey for the boys and visits to Uncle Ronnie’s as Bev slept from weekend nightshifts working as a Nurse. Jeff enjoyed the cottage lifestyle and grew up having summers at Moose and Lorimer Lakes. Jeff’s work included North York waste management, Canada Post and various construction jobs. He met his wife KerryAnn at the North York YMCA and she had his heart forever. Their life included being loving caregivers for Jeff’s elderly mother, eating the incredible Jamaican food KerryAnn cooks and going out to the movies. The true essence of Jeff was his dedication and focus on the partnership with his wife.
The family wishes to thank his family Dr. Kevin Sanders and the team in Respirology at North York General Hospital. The incredible and compassionate nursing staff were so helpful and caring on his multiple visits to the hospital. Donations, in Memory of Jeff, can be made to the https://nyghfoundation.ca/priority-needs/.
A private gathering is being held.
