John studied at St. Mary's College Kisubi, Makerere University, and the University of Toronto, where he focused on Mathematics. He was a devoted Mathematics Teacher. John or Sseruganda, as he was affectionately known, will also be missed by his many students from King's College Buddo, extended family and friends.
He is survived by his son Oscar Kisekka, and his 6 siblings.
Sseruganda will lay in repose on Tuesday February 20, 2024 from 9-10 am at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street in North York. A State Funeral Service will follow at 10 am. Sseruganda will be rested at Aurora Cemetery, 14253 Yonge Street in Aurora, following his services.
