Judith leaves behind her loving husband of 60 years, Joseph Stuart Smith, who remained devoted to her until her final moments. She was the cherished mother of Craig (Jessica), Kevin (Debbie), and Kerri-Ann (Jeffrey). Her legacy lives on through her seven beloved granddaughters: Jenna and Briana (Craig), Melissa, Renee, and Naomi (Kevin), and Tasha and Jadyn (Kerri-Ann).
Born to Howard and Florence Dierlam, Judith was predeceased by her sister Lois. She dedicated her life to education, serving as a teacher throughout her career (Davisville, Kingslake, Aldergrove), taking time away only to raise her children – a testament to her unwavering commitment to both her family and the development of young minds. Her passion for teaching, her nurturing spirit, and her dedication to family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She touched countless lives through her years in the classroom and created a loving foundation for her own family to thrive.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Matthew the Apostle Oriole Anglican Church or the University of Guelph OVC Pet Trust.
