Julia Afeltowicz passed away peacefully on Tuesday February 13, 2018, at the Humber River Hospital, in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late John (Jan). Loving mother of Stanley, Eddy, and Richard. Dear grandmother of Tanya and Michelle. Julia will be sadly missed by her nieces Tania, Larisa and their families.
Visiting will be held at the Jerrett North York Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge St. (South of Steeles Ave.) on Monday February 19, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday February 20, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at St. John's Dixie Cemetery, (737 Dundas St. East, Mississauga). If desired, in memoriam donations may be made to either the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Cancer Society.
