Peacefully passed away on January 12, 2013 at the North York General Hospital. Loving and devoted mother of Norbert (deceased) and Eva, Gertrude and Anthony Kiang (deceased), Michael and Judy, Christina (deceased), Philomena and Sing Hol Cheung (deceased), Peter and Linda, Vivian and Robert Kong, Margaret and Peter Chau and Cyril and Esther. Cherished grandma of 14 grandchildren and 8 grandchildren-in-law. Respected great-grandma of 12 great-grandchildren. Sylvia will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her family and friends.
Friends may visit the Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street (2 lights south of Steeles, on the east side) on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 9:00am to 10:00am. An eulogy service will commence at 10:00am in the funeral home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:45 am on Friday, January 18, 2013 at St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church, 92 Steeles Avenue West. Burial at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donation to North York General Hospital or St. Paschal Baylon Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
