It is with the fondest and treasured memories as I reflect on my dear friend, Mabel, sharing a cuppa before receiving her aesthetic services with me.   She said she felt so special having afternoon tea out of fine tea cups!  :-)  I miss her a lot and send my love to Bob, Jim and Jesse,  who she loved and talked about so much, and also to  the rest of her family. I first meet Mabel around 25 years ago when she first started working out at Cummer Park.  Mabel would come to class and Jesse would sit there on the bench, such a good kid never complaining or misbehaving. Over the next 2 plus decades we developed a wonderful friendship, sharing lunches, dinners, a Leafs game, hours of conversations and laughs and oh how we laughed. When I think back I'm so lucky that Mabel chose me as a friend and I think I got the best end of it. 

I know Mabel would hate me saying such nice things about her but she deserves this and more. Mabel was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend and now that she is gone the world is a little less brighter. I will only think of her with love.

May her memory be a blessing to all who loved her and bring you comfort during this most difficult time.

So sorry to hear of Mabel’s passing.  Her love and dedication to her family was unparalleled.   My condolences.

Please know that we share your pain in the loss of a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and our friend.
We met Mabel  over 28 years ago.  She was first a client of my business where she was able to maintain her outer beauty.  Her soft personality, her quick laughter, her adventurous spirit – ready to try anything - was very impressive and all who met her loved her.   What woman in her 80s sported a Vet!!!!  

We have shared so much fun together and we will truly miss her.  

May her precious spirit rest in peace.

Condolences to Bob, Bill, Jesse, Andy and Jesse's girls .  I hope memories of Auntie Mabel bring you all comfort during this difficult time.  I have many happy memories of Mabel,  my first one being in the kitchen of the house in Willowdale where you lived before the one at 199 Cameron. She served my my first toasted tomato sandwich, believe me when I say  tomatoes tasted better then. She was young and beautiful and listening to a transistor radio! I had so many good times with her.  I will always remember her with love.  My thoughts are with you.  I am so sorry for your loss.

Backyard parties & barbeques, a trip to Montreal, going to her beloved Blue Jays, and innumerable afternoons sitting on the patio 'putting the world to rights'.
