Passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2015 at St. Bernard's Residence at the age of 102. Maria, beloved wife of the late Antonio Hipolito (1937). Loving mother of Maria Estela Braga (the late Joaquim Braga) and Fatima Medina (Antonio Medina). Loving grandmother of Hernani Braga (Kim), Benvinda Haley (David), Rosa Braga-Mele (Louis) and Victor Medina (Melinda). Great-Grandmother to many.
Maria was a loving, giving and kind Soul who always had a smile for everyone. She touched many lives.
A special thanks to St. Bernard's residence and all the nuns and staff who helped and prayed for her.
Visitation will be held at the Jerrett Funeral Home "North York Chapel", 6191 Yonge St (south of Steeles) on Monday, March 30th, 2015 from 6:30-9pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:30pm on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015 at St. Bernard's Convent Chapel, 685 Finch Avenue West (east of Dufferin) with visitation from 1-130pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of Flowers, donations may be made to the St. Bernard's Convent.
