He is survived by his mother, Gail Holmes, his siblings Dianne Samler (Tom Whiteway) and Andrew Holmes (James Brown), his nieces Sarah Woodason (Justin Woodason) and Rebecca Thompson (Alix Thompson), nephew Ryan Thorne, and great-nephews Jack Woodason and Lincoln Thompson.
Michael is predeceased by his father, Bruce Holmes.
Michael will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle and great uncle. Michael’s greatest joy was being an uncle and a great-uncle. He will be remembered for his love of floral design and his devotion to his family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 2 pm to 6 pm.
Please join the family in a reception at noon before the funeral.
Funeral Service will take place on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 1 pm in the Chapel.
