I met Mike back in the early 1980s when he had transferred from 52 Division to 22 Division. I noticed him initially being ex-military and seeing ribbons on his tunic however, they were different and I was soon to learn he was a former US Marine and Vietnam vet. We had many good times together and he was an avid reader.
