Myung Ho Kim

Devoted daughter of Kyung Hwa Kim and Joo Deuk Song, born in Incheon, South Korea. Beloved wife of the late Doo Sung Kim (2014) to whom she was married for 49 years. Loving mother of Richard and Julie (Paul), and sister of the late Moo Ho (Yon Ok), the late Jung Ho, Young Ho, Bo Ho, Hyo Ja. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews and other relatives abroad. Halmonee will be dearly missed by her grandchildren, Caroline and Thomas.

She epitomized quiet strength. From humble beginnings in South Korea, she and her husband bravely forged a new life in Toronto as part of the first emigrants to Canada in the late 1960's. With a kind, faithful and generous heart, she always put others first and made sure everyone around her was cared for (and fed!). She kept it light with her quirky jokes and always loved to cheer/jeer the Toronto Blue Jays. She loved Canada and everything it provided for her and her family.
