

Philomena Julianna Le Bleu, beloved wife of the late Paul and cherished mother of Debra, passed away suddenly on November 17, 2023. She was born on January 25, 1933, and will be deeply missed by her loved ones.
Philomena leaves behind her siblings Gabriel, Michael, Clarice, Marianne, and Aloyusius, who will forever treasure the memories they shared with their dear sister. She was pre-deceased by her parents Aloysius and Monica Glofcheski and her brother, Father Raphael Glofcheski, who found his calling in the Catholic Church.
In addition to her immediate family, Philomena will be fondly remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. She was a devoted member of St. Edward the Confessor Catholic Church, she had an unwavering faith in Jesus and a deep devotion to Mary. Philomena actively participated in the RCIA, the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, as well as the Catholic Women's League of Canada, the church choir, and The Legion of Mary.
Philomena began her 55-year career in the service industry as a waitress at the Cozy Corner Restaurant in Renfrew, Ontario. She worked at a number of restaurants until her retirement from at the Corner Restaurant in North York. Her strong work ethic and dedication to service were evident throughout her life.
Philomena was a proud Polish farm girl, hailing from Barry's Bay. She lived on the family farm on Paugh Lake Road, where she cherished her early memories in Northern Ontario.
We will forever remember Philomena as a devoted wife, loving mother, faithful parishioner, and hardworking person who touched the lives of those around her. She will be greatly missed, but her spirit will live on in our hearts.
Visitation will be held on Sunday November 26, 2023 from 1 to 5 pm at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street in North York. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday November 27, 2023 at 10:30 am at St. Edward the Confessor Parish, 75 Churchill Avenue in North York. Committal will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery.
