Robert George Mitchell

Bob will be deeply missed by his children Robert (Faten) and Sandra (Ric), along with his six grandchildren Robin, Ryan, Elizabeth (Ashton) and Rosalyn (Sahil), and Teresa (Erik) and Anthony (Erin). He will also be missed by a large extended family and many friends and neighbours.

He rejoins in eternity his wife Vera, his parents George and Ella (Nell) Mitchell, his cherished sister Dorothy McWhinnie, his brother-in-law Arthur McWhinnie, his beloved nephew John DeSipio, and his brother Gordon Mitchell.

Bob and Vera ran a successful industrial electrical business, and Bob knew how to fix just about anything. Even after his retirement, he continued to stay active in his shop repairing complex equipment. He remained connected to longtime friends in his neighbourhood. Bob was most proud of his grandchildren and was a devoted grandfather and family man.

A gathering for Bob will be held Sunday, March 30, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, ON. Remembrances from the family will be shared at 2:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be considered in Bob's memory to the Mississauga Food Bank.
