Ruth Theresa Carpenter of Toronto, Ontario passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 at the age of 86. She was the beloved wife of the late Roy Harris-Lewis and his son, Stuart Lewis. She is survived by her brother, Knut Zimmerman and his wife Christel and was predeceased by her sister, Rita Keller née Zimmermann.
Ruth will be fondly remembered by her dear friend, Mary Liang-Rausch, God Daughter, Jacqueline Rausch, friends Tanya Rausch and Diane Seniuk, and her many friends, colleagues and family.
Visitation will be held on Sunday March 23, 2025 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at the Kane Jerrett North York Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St. south of Steeles Ave.) with a Celebration of Life Service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 pm. Cremation has taken place. If desired, in memoriam donations may be made to either the Canadian Cancer Society or to Sunnybrook Research Foundation.
